Careful traffic in Socotra during these days, as the traffic department in the Socotra Archipelago works on management of traffic to reduce congestion and overcrowding in street, which contributes to reducing traffic accidents.
In this regard, Lieutenant Colonel Mubarak Suliman bin Qablan, Director General of Traffic Police in the Socotra Archipelago, commended the great role by the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and its effort in supporting the Socotra Archipelago in different fields, especially security. In addition, the traffic police always witness great support from the United Arab Emirates including up-to-date devices such as license issuance device, title device, and other devices in order to facilitate the process. He also highlighted that the traffic police has worked on raising awareness of drivers and set some guiding signs in streets of Hadiboh to reduce traffic accidents in addition to achievement of modern look by organizing traffic.
During these days, the Island witnesses outstanding activity in organization of traffic and calls all concerned entities to comply with the traffic rules, which is considered as community duty.
It is worth noting that the increase of traffic rules and asserting the necessity for complying during the last period is in line with increase of vehicles owning and increase of number of population.
