Machines of Khalifa Foundation is working on maintenance and refurbishment of Matiaf Road, which is one of the unpaved roads in Socotra. The Foundation aims at maintaining and refurbishing the road to facilitate transportation of assistance and foodstuff to the people in remote and mountain areas.
It is worth noting that Khalifa Foundation is implementing many projects in relation with important roads linking districts and villages across Socotra. These projects will make it easy for people to move and avoid risks of unpaved roads.
