Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation quickly responded to calls of people of Abd Al Kuri by sending integrated medical team through a helicopter to examine patients after spreading of fever cases.
Upon arrival, the medical team examined cases and gave them the required medicines to mitigate side effects of fevers and diseases.
An official at Khalifa Foundation mentioned that this quick response was in response to calls launched by people of Abd Al Kuri after spreading of fevers among people.
Dr. Sadam, Head of the medical team, mentioned that after receiving the assignment from Sheikh Khalifa Hospital to visit people of Abd Al Kuri and examine them, he worked on preparation of the team for this visit. He added that upon arrival, they worked on examining patients and giving medicines to them. In addition, he mentioned that they took specimen of these fevers and diseases to examine them in laboratories.
Sheikh Ghaleb Al Gamhi, Director General of Abd Al Kuri Island, commended the quick response by Khalifa Foundation, and highlighted that this initiative was largely welcomed by people across the Island.
In turn, Lieutenant Mohamed Salem Al Gamhi expressed his happiness for this visit that would help people and provide them with better health care services for their safety and health. Resident Ahmed Salem expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for these instructions to help people of Abd Al Kuri during this hard time.
