The Education Office in the Directorate of Qalansiyah and Abdul-Kuri in Socotra Governorate organized an honoring ceremony for the top students in the Qalansiyah Secondary Schools and Saif bin Dhi Yazan School for Primary Education for the academic year 2021-2022 last Thursday, with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
At the ceremony, Raed Al-Juraibi, the Senior Deputy Governor, stressed the importance of holding such celebrations to honor outstanding students, raise their morale and encourage them to continue their scientific excellence.
For his part, the Director General of the Directorate of Qalansiyah and Abdul Kuri expressed his happiness at holding the honoring ceremony for the first students in the Directorate, which had a great impact on the students to maintain the level of their scientific and cultural progress.
Al-Hakami expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation for its sponsorship of this honoring ceremony.
Saad Al-Jadmhi, the Director of the Education Office in the Directorate of Qalansiyah and Abdul-Kuri, welcomed all the attendees at the honoring ceremony. He pointed out that the ceremony came as a culmination of the success of the educational process in the district, which comes in light of the continuous support provided by the Khalifa Foundation to the education sector and the Education Office.
Al-Jadhami added that 95 male and female students from various levels in the primary, preparatory and secondary stages were honored during this ceremony.
Student Jalal Ahmed said in his speech about the first students that they are happy today to be honored and celebrate their efforts during the academic year.
He extended his thanks to the Khalifa Foundation for its continuous support, as well as to the Education Office in the Directorate, the school administration and the teaching staff.
In addition, the Education Office honored Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for their efforts in the success and development of the educational process in the governorate.
The ceremony included speeches by dignitaries, popular songs, poems and a theatrical performance on the importance of education, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
