Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation provided people of Zayed 2 and Dafaraho in Nujed with power generators and various assistance, as the team of Khalifa Foundation provided 2 power generators with a capacity of 60 KV and 30 KV in Zayed 2 City in Zaheq and Dafaraho respectively, from which 108 families benefited.
Team of Khalifa Foundation also distributed various assistance to people including blankets, clothes, shoes, dates, gifts for children, and financial assistance to 78 families.
An Official at Khalifa Foundation highlighted that this campaign was in line with efforts of Khalifa Foundation to provide people with different needs, especially essentials prior to Ramadan to mitigate their suffering. He also highlighted that Khalifa Foundation would keep such humanitarian activities during these days and Ramadan to help people of Socotra and make them happy.
Jamaan Khamis Murgan, resident in Zayed 2, commended the great support by the United Arab Emirates to the city since its establishment after being damaged due to Chapalla and Meg hurricanes. He highlighted that these two power generators would help people have uninterrupted electricity to help them have better life.
Citizen Abdel Kareem Ahmed Helal commended such humanitarian gesture from Khalifa Foundation to mitigate suffering of people from high temperature of summer.
Sheikh Yahia Abdullah Ibrahim expressed his happiness for this generosity from Khalifa Foundation, and thanked officials of Khalifa Foundation for the continuous concern with remote areas.
