Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation provided people of the Western Coastline in Socotra with domestic gas cylinders in line with the continuous efforts of the United Arab Emirates in providing people of Socotra with all essentials and service requirements in order to provide people with better quality of life.
Large number of families in Qadeb and Muri benefited from distribution of domestic gas cylinders, which came with Ramadan and few days to Eid Al Fitr, as it would be considered as one of the essentials for every family in Socotra. In addition, distribution of domestic gas by Khalifa Foundation contributed to mitigating suffering of people of Socotra from deforestation to maintain the uniqueness of the Island.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of people of these areas during distribution of the domestic gas cylinders. Ali Mohamed Salem, Sheikh of Hafet Muri, asserted that people of Muri felt comfortable and relaxed after distribution of the domestic gas cylinders, and thanked Khalifa Foundation and leaders of the United Arab Emirates for such generous initiative.
In turn, Mr. Mohamed Saad expressed appreciation to Khalifa Foundation and the United Arab Emirates for such great effort.
Mohamed Salem Abu Khairan commended the great role by the United Arab Emirates and its hands of charity in providing people of Socotra with all essentials. He also mentioned that this initiative would be largely welcomed by all people of Socotra.
Akram Mahmoud expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for the great role in different aspects of life.
