Vehicles and teams of assistance of Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent still moving across Socotra distributing assistance to people across Socotra including blankets, dates, and clothes.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of people in Qabhaten. Mr. Saeed Malek, Identifier of Qabhaten, mentioned that assistance by Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent arrived to all districts across Socotra, and added that this assistance was not the first of kind, as UAE used to support people of Socotra through its humanitarian hands “Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent”.
Sheikh Suliman Ahmed Razook, Head of Second Block in Qabhaten, mentioned that assistance would be distributed in accordance with the list provided by Khalifa Foundation and District Representative. He also thanked Khalifa Foundation, Emirates Red Crescent, and field teams.
Salem Hazmhi, Official at the Third Block in Qabhaten, expressed appreciation and gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for such support during these hard times.
It was worth noting that such assistance was in line with the phases of completion targeting all districts and villages of Socotra.
