The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continues to implement development and service projects in Socotra Governorate, which meet the needs of its people and alleviate their previous suffering.
Whereas, work is currently proceeding at an accelerated pace in the two projects of establishing a school for primary education and a health unit in Al-Horhar in the southern coastal strip (Nujed).
The primary school consists of two floors and six classrooms, in addition to administrative offices and a storeroom, with a completion rate of 45%, while the health unit consists of 4 rooms and an integrated bathroom, 70% of which have been completed.
An official source explained that these projects come within the framework of the Foundation keenness to provide essential services to the people of the island, especially in rural areas that need such necessary services. It was worth noting that the projects offered by the Foundation contribute significantly to providing educational, health and medical services to a large number of people.
