Many districts and villages in Socotra suffering from lack of potable water witnessed presence of water tanks of Khalifa Foundation on daily basis, as the Foundation has kept affording efforts since years to deliver potable water to different districts across Socotra including Amdahen, villages of Qalansiyah, Qabhaten, Dexim, western coastline, and furthest south of Socotra.
The campaign aimed at provision of potable water and contribution to supporting stability of Socotrian families and helping them in arrangement of life requirements, especially in remote areas.
In turn, people of Socotra expressed their thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for such campaign and initiative, which proved that UAE has always been proactive in meeting requirements of the people in Socotra.
