College of Community in Socotra is subject of great concern by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. The Foundation gives great attention to education in general and College of Community in particular as one of the largest educational institutions. The College of Community promoted the skills and competences of students in order to provide the market with skilled and qualified workers.
Dr. Nadeem Hassan Al Azibi, Dean of College of Community, commended the great effort by Khalifa Foundation in relation with supporting the college and education sector in general through financial and other aspects of support.
He also highlighted that the College is ready for opening registration and enrollment for the new academic year “the fifth batch” and mentioned that the registration will remain open until September 15. In accordance with resolution of College Board, two sections are open; computer and technical accounting with total of 60 students in addition to 250 students in second and third academic years.
Furthermore, he added that the tests would be presumed after its suspension since April due to COVID-19. The first test would start on September 19.
Al Azaibi also highlighted that the College would face some problems during the present situation, with operation budget on the top.
He also commended the outstanding role by Khalifa Foundation in various fields, especially education sector. In addition, he asserted that the support of Khalifa Foundation was the main reason for continuation of operation.
