Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent implemented distribution of humanitarian assistance to different locations in Shoab in Socotra including blankets, clothes, shoes and diapers for 262 families in 13 remote areas.
Teams of Khalifa Foundation arrived to the remote areas and drew smiles on faces of people and children without thinking in the far distance, as they wished to help people of Socotra.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of people. Sheikh Saad Ahmed Saad expressed happiness of people for arrival of vehicles of UAE assistance, and thanked Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent for the great effort.
Sheikh Ali Faisal Al Besiri, Member at Development Committee, expressed thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for the great effort in different fields.
Ali Mohamed Salem bin Taarhi commended effort of UAE and reflection of fraternity relationship, and asserted that assistance and support by UAE would help people of Socotra in achievement of development.
