There were popular and official welcome of the noble humanitarian activities by the United Arab Emirates in Socotra. Khalifa Foundation sent a civil plane with medical equipment and safety tools to Socotra to transport the inured of the traffic accident, which resulted in tens of injuries including kids and youth.
This initiative was not new to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation, as people of Socotra used to witness such activities by the humanitarian arms of the United Arab Emirates in Socotra.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of people on transporting the injured to be treated in the hospitals in the United Arab Emirates.
Raed Mohamed Nasser Al Juraibi, Senior Deputy Governor of the Socotra Archipelago, mentioned that this humanitarian action by Khalifa Foundation was not new, as people across Socotra used to witness new humanitarian initiative everyday by the United Arab Emirates. He also thanked the United Arab Emirates and its humanitarian arms for such generous support.
Sheikh Suliman Abdullah Shalolha, Senior Sheikh of Socotra, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the noble actions resulting from the fraternity relationship. He added that this civil plane would help the critical patients to be treated in the United Arab Emirates with the best services to be provided.
Sheikh Abdullah Musalam thanked the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for such effort in helping the injured.
