With great success, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in the Socotra Archipelago launched the free-of-charge vaccine campaign against COVID-19 targeting all people of Socotra. This would assert concerning of the UAE with people of Socotra at all times, which would be in line with its regional and international developmental and humanitarian initiatives.
People of Socotra concerned with coming to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as a reflection of their social awareness. In turn, people of Socotra expressed their appreciation and gratitude to people and sheikhs of the UAE for contributing to protecting people of Socotra from all diseases and concerning with healthcare sector.
Mr. Salem Daheq Ali, Member of Development Committee at Khalifa Foundation, expressed happiness of people of Socotra of launch of vaccination process, as the people of Socotra received 10,000 vaccine doses of 60,000 doses, and expressed his gratitude and appreciation to people and sheikhs of the UAE.
Sheikh Ghanem Saeed Al Zahqi, Identifier of Nujed, highlighted that launch of COVID-19 vaccination campaign in Sheikh Khalifa Hospital would help in protecting people from spread of COVID-19, and thanked sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates.
Salem Saleh Al Hamed, Director of Personnel at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, mentioned that the vaccine with support of the Emirates Red Crescent arrived to Socotra by the hands of charity representing the UAE in Socotra.
