The people of Socotra expressed their happiness and joy for reopening Haibaq road by Khalifa Foundation, since it linked between Socotra International Airport and western and southern areas of Hadiboh in Socotra.
The people expressed their happiness for ending this suffering that lasted for a long time due to the road blockage because of rain, and being isolated from the capital Hadiboh, which was their destination for bringing essentials.
Today, Khalifa Foundation reopened the road to revive life of people of western and southern areas.
Mr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Abdul Aziz expressed to Socotra Online his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates represented by leaders and sheikhs for the great efforts in different issues, and assured that the United Arab Emirates has been initiator and supportive.
Mr. Ahmed Salem Hamodi, resident in Halama Nujed, expressed his appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and thanks to Khalifa Foundation for its presence in all fields achieving progress, development and prosperity.
Othman Hadid Mohamed said that such effort was not new from Khalifa Foundation as it has been present for support in different aspects.
Naser Mohamed Mansour, resident of west coast, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leaders and sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the efforts in Socotra.
