The emergency teams of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation distributed the food assistance to the people of Qarra yesterday June 13, 2020. The assistance provided by Khalifa Foundation benefited 148 families in Saberho, Mathes, Amtaei, and Maqahi in addition to Rokhen, Ashwaq, Pateu and others. The assistance, which was distributed by the identifiers of each area, included food packages containing flour, rice, sugar, dates, tea and oil. Furthermore, the team provided children with toys.
Omar Salem expressed his thanks and appreciation to teams of Khalifa Foundation for helping the people and serving them in accordance with the set program.
Resident Satt Kalis commended the role of the United Arab Emirates in Socotra and said that no words can express thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation and leaders of the United Arab Emirates.
It was worth noting that the assistance was in line with the supplementary phases of Nujed in south of Socotra in order to help the people.
