People of Qalansiyah are Happy for Success of the Proactive Prevention Campaign against COVID-19

The efforts of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation against COVID-19 were widely praised across Socotra, as the Foundation implemented a campaign in Qalansiyah, which is the second largest city in Socotra, this morning.

Proactive Prevention Campaign

Socotra Online sought responses and reactions of citizens towards Emergency and Public Safety Team across the streets. Socotra Online team met Mr. Salem Said Saad who stated that Khalifa Foundation brought pleasure to the people through its awareness-raising and humanitarian campaign. Everyone was happy with this proactive preventive campaign against the novel coronavirus. He added that efforts of Khalifa Foundation were not limited to a certain aspect, but rather included all aspects and services.

Community Awareness

Dr. Suliman Abdullah Al Fergahi, employee in Qalansiyah Hospital, expressed his thanks to Khalifa Foundation for such public proactive prevention campaign against COVID-19 indicating that he was one of the teams who contributed to community awareness-raising against the novel coronavirus.

First of Kind Campaign

Othman Hadid Mohammed, one of citizens in Qalansiyah, said in its statement that the Foundation made many service and humanitarian contributions indicating that such campaign was the first of kind in general and in Qalansiyah in specific. The people realized the risk of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, especially after this proactive campaign. He expressed his thanks to Khalifa Foundation for these humanitarian services for the public interest.

Island Protection

Mazen Saleh Moaz expressed his thanks to Khalifa Foundation for the proactive prevention campaign in order to protect the Island against COVID-19, which threatens the world.

The campaign has been in Qalansiyah for three days and continued its sterilization operations in accordance with the health and prevention standards leaving positive effects in Socotra.
