Team of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent distributed the food and clothes assistance to the people of Qadmeno in Mumi. The assistance included different kinds of essential foodstuff including (rice, sugar, oil, shahi, and dates) in addition to different kinds of clothes to adults and children and toys for children.
Sheikh Saleh Malek, Identifier of Mumi, assured that this assistance would have a positive effect on helping the families in relation with arrangement of food and other life requirements. He added that role of Khalifa Foundation in helping and arranging requirements for the needy families in Mumi was one of the roles performed by Khalifa Foundation in Socotra in general.
In this regard, Sheikh Amer Ahmed Essa said that people of Qadmeno were very happy for arrival of the teams of the Emirates Red Crescent and Khalifa Foundation to help them in meeting different life requirements and developing the region.
In turn, the people of Qadmeno in Mumi expressed their thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent for this assistance. They also expressed their happiness and joy for that, which would have a great importance to the people of the region.
