Shataa Block in East Socotra welcomed the UAE vehicles of charity with happiness and joy to mitigate their suffering. More than 370 families in 18 districts benefited from the UAE assistance that included the following essentials (dates, rice, flour, salt, sugar, oil, and tea).
Sheikh Saleh Mazrou, Identifier of the Block, expressed his gratitude to the United Arab Emirates, presided by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates. He highlighted that people of the block were very happy for arrival of this assistance.
In turn, Abdullah Saad Ahmed mentioned that arrival of this assistance is part of what people of Socotra used to witness from the United Arab Emirates in different fields.
Ibrahim Salem Mazrou commended the great role by Khalifa Foundation sponsored by the United Arab Emirates in development of Socotra and providing people of Socotra with better life.
