Khalifa Foundation opened Sheikh Zayed Health Center in Shoab following Qalansiyah and Abd Al Kuri with presence of large number of people of Socotra and Sultan Ali Essa Al Afrar, Head of Development Committee at Khalifa Foundation. This center is a branch of Khalifa Hospital that includes several departments such as inpatient, pharmacy, emergency, doctor accommodation… etc.
Opening this center is in line with achievements of the United Arab Emirates in Socotra that are implemented by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. The Foundation helped in elimination of negligence in the center.
Adnan Mohamed bin Oqail, Director of Health Office in Qalansiyah, during opening, mentioned that the United Arab Emirates and its Sheikhs had a distinguishable and honorable record of achievements in Socotra in all fields, especially health sector.
He commended the role of Khalifa Foundation in the Socotra Archipelago in following up needs and requirements of people of Socotra. It is worth noting that the United Arab Emirates always concerns with people of Socotra in all fields.
In turn, Mohamed Salem, Director of Sheikh Zayed Health Center, welcomed such outstanding achievement in Socotra by the United Arab Emirates, which eliminated negligence in Shoab Health Center that spread over years. He added that thanks to Khalifa Foundation, people of Shoab will receive better health services.
In turn, people of Shoab expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the generous support.
