Works in Socotra International Airport executed by the United Arab Emirates through its humanitarian hand (Khalifa Foundation) were continuous in different developmental projects for renovation of the Airport.
Khalifa Foundation conducted a field survey of all projects, and continued working on replacement of damaged fence and poles to be fixed with concrete in addition to excavation of flood courses around the fence to dispose rain and avoid damage of underground parts of the steel mesh fence. In addition, Khalifa Foundation continued finishing of the building of shipping transactions of all sizes in addition to waiting and terminal halls to decrease pressure on the main building of the Airport.
Over years, Khalifa Foundation has conducted several developmental projects in Socotra International Airport to provide a high-quality service to all travelers, as the Airport has become a matter of concern by all visitors to the Socotra Archipelago.
