With participation and support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, a wide cleaning campaign launched in Muri District today, which removed tons of hard and plastic waste that was in the entrance and main streets deforming the general look of the Archipelago.
The campaign, which had a wide community contribution, concerned with showing Muri District in a proper look as the front of Socotra since it included Socotra International Airport in addition to maintaining the people of negative and health effects that may result from these waste.
The people in Muri District interacted with the campaign launched by Khalifa Foundation and contributed to the campaign in extent of their community responsibility. They expressed their thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazroui, Representative of Khalifa Foundation, for such constant efforts meeting the needs of the Archipelago.
