The meeting of the football association and sport clubs in the Socotra Governorate with the presence of the Secretary General of the Association, Saleh Ali Mohsen, and Member/ Mohamed Bashkel, decided to hold the meeting with participation of 18 clubs divided into 4 groups.
First Group: Al Nasr (Champion), Radfan, Al Nagm Al Sahili, Dam Al Akhwen
Second Group: Nujed, Al Wehda, Al Ain, Al Majd, Al Ahli
Third Group: Al Jazeera, Al Helal, Al Sad, Al Etihad, Tagamou
Fourth Group: Al Sharq, Al Jomhour, Al Mina, Al Wasl, Al Talia
Ahmed Hazom, Head of Football Association asserted that the championship would be held after approval of Khalifa Foundation to support the championship for the fifth time to promote sport activities during the autumn.
In turn, Saleh Yaslam, Head of Radfan Club, indicated that holding the championship would promote the sport activities and meet aspirations of the youth. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the generous support.
