On Wednesday, January 06, 2021, Sheikh Khalifa Hospital launched COVID-19 test for people coming to Socotra in Socotra International Airport.
Salah Abdel Qawi Taher, Head of Laboratory Department in Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, mentioned that the hospital management sent a medical team to conduct COVID-19 test (Rapel Test) for people coming to Socotra from the United Arab Emirates in Socotra International Airport. Results of all tests were negative. In turn, Saad Adris, acting administrative official, expressed his happiness for launch of COVID-19 test “Rapel Test” as a precautionary measure for safety of people of Socotra.
Ahmed Salem expressed his happiness for this action in Socotra International Airport supported by Khalifa Foundation for safety of people of Socotra. This test would be an outstanding step for safety of Socotra.
