A new UAE ship with a load of petroleum products was anchored in Socotra port and discharged its load in the port to support the petroleum supply of the Socotra Archipelago.
An official at Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation that the ship arrived at dawn on Sunday with a full load of petroleum products for supplying power generation plants, and providing local market with petroleum products as required through Adnoc stations in Hadiboh and Qalansiyah.
The official at Khalifa Foundation highlighted that the discharged load and the one that arrived last week would help in arrangement of requirements of petroleum products during the following months, which in turn would help in spreading comfort among the people.
AD Astra, the first ship, arrived at the end of the last week and discharged its load, which helped in solving the issue of petroleum products in the Socotra Archipelago.
Khalifa Foundation sought to afford more efforts to open Adnoc stations in several location in order to serve the people and provide them with petroleum products.
People of Socotra expressed their appreciation for the outstanding effort by Khalifa Foundation in arrangement of requirements of the people of Socotra in different fields.
