Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation reopened the road of east areas after being blocked due to the flood resulting from the tropical depression, Bhavan.
The road was blocked during the last few days preventing thousands of people from reaching their homes.
Khalifa Foundation responded quickly by sending its teams to reopen the road to be used by different kinds of vehicles, which stopped for days waiting for reopening.
In a statement to Socotra Online, Sheikh Abdul Moez Yahia Amer, Sheikh of Dabna, praised the efforts of Khalifa Foundation in quick response to the calls of the people and reopening the road. He highlighted that reopening the road facilitated to the people to move and transport patients.
In this regard, the people of the east areas asked for a solution for the problem of road blockage and high level of water of floods.
