Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation launched distribution of water tanks and provision of water desalination machines in Abd Al Kuri, which was largely welcomed and appreciated by people of Abd Al Kuri, who expressed importance of this initiative to better life.
An official at Khalifa Foundation concerned with sending 100 tanks with 1,000-liter capacity for families of Abd Al Kuri in addition to providing water desalination machines to arrange needs of people of Abd Al Kuri of potable water.
He also added that teams of Khalifa Foundation have been working hard to drill new wells on the island to end suffering of people.
Sheikh Ghalib Al Gamhi, Director General of Island, mentioned that arrival of these 100 tanks would help people in provision of potable water for long period, and commended support of UAE in all fields.
People of Abd Al Kuri expressed their appreciation and gratitude to UAE for arranging their needs and helping them in different fields.
