Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation launched Suqia Campaign in the Western Coastline in Socotra in the following districts: Ablehen, Salmaho and Shoroq in coinciding with the lack of water in districts and villages of the western coastline. In extent of humanitarian activities by Khalifa Foundation, the Foundation continued Suqia Campaign in different places in the Socotra Archipelago.
It was worth noting that various teams of Suqia Campaign moved during autumn targeting districts and villages of Qalansiyah, Amdahen, Qabhaten and Dexam. The movement of teams of the Campaign lasted for three months. The people of these districts expressed their deep appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for the outstanding support to the people of Socotra during hard times.
