Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation launched a mist spraying campaign to control disease-carrying mosquitoes and insects.
This campaign would last for two months and would be divided into two stages using the gyrocopter of Khalifa Foundation. The first stage would last for two weeks, and the second stage would include 3 main valleys in Hadiboh for 45 days.
The participating teams asserted that they would afford all possible efforts to achieve the target of the campaign to help the people of Socotra to have better life and good health.
This campaign was in response to risks felt by people of Hadiboh due to spread of mosquitoes across the city.
It was largely welcomed by people of Socotra, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the great effort.
