People of Danoban and Mosabqhen expressed their happiness and joy for connection of electricity, which was largely and officially welcomed by people inside and outside Socotra with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation implemented by Dexam Power and Water Technology. This was the first phase of Electricity project in Sheikh Zayed 4 –Tolerance Year with a capacity of 1.5 MW.
Engineer Mosaad Karam mentioned that opening this electricity plant was in line with concern of Khalifa Foundation with completion of connection of electricity in the remaining areas across Socotra.
Socotra Online was present to reflect happiness of people and such important service achievement. Engineer Rafat Al Thaqli, Head of Transitional Council of South of Socotra, mentioned that the United Arab Emirates always work hard to complete connection of electricity across Socotra by Dexam Power and Water Technology. He also thanked the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for concerning with Socotra and its development.
Sheikh Suliman Shalolha, Senior Sheikh of Socotra, mentioned that launch of electricity plant in West of Socotra with UAE support is an outstanding achievement, and highlighted that Khalifa Foundation has been the main supporter to people of Socotra at all levels.
Mohamed Abdullah Al Dexami, Identifier of such District, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for making people happy through provision of essentials and necessary services.
Saeed Sadon expressed his gratitude and appreciation to officials of Khalifa Foundation for such great achievements.
Mounir Gaman Hamdan thanked the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for connection of electricity stating that people of Socotra are happy for implementation of these outstanding projects.
