With official and community participation, people of Socotra attended celebration of the mother’s day in Ataya Model School as an appreciation for all mothers around the world. The celebration included several artistic and theater shows.
In line with the celebration, a photographs show including several photographs about creative arts and crafts was launched, which reflected that students of Ataya Model School benefited from the school to upgrade their skills and capabilities concerning recycling.
During celebration, Mr. Raid Mohamed Nasser Al Juraibi, Senior Undersecretary of the Socotra Archipelago, wished a good health for all mothers, and indicated that the mother would be the core of the family.
In turn, Engineer Raafat Ali Ibrahim Al Theqali, Head of the Southern Transitional Council, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent in addition to all Egyptian teachers and all organizing teams for such outstanding celebration.
He also wished to all mothers across the Island to have good health and better life. He also thanked the UAE teams for the great support to people of Socotra.
It was worth noting that Ataya Model School was established by the Emirates Red Crescent and provided with the required teaching staff by Khalifa Foundation in order to prepare a good generation.
