Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation teams afforded outstanding effort through Dexim Power and Water Technology in replacement of the old power generators with new ones with larger capacity to overcome the deficit of power in the capital Hadiboh.
The solutions of Khalifa Foundation were largely welcomed by the people of Socotra. Socotra Online was present to reflect opinion of people in this regard. Mr. Mohamed Abdullah Al Dexmi highlighted the importance of electricity in Socotra, which Khalifa Foundation provides for 24 hours without interruption and free of charge. He also added that Khalifa Foundation was going to complete projects in east and west of Socotra Island to end suffering of people. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the outstanding effort.
Dr. Essa Saad Al Shanqabi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for improvement of electricity Sector in Socotra, and thanked teams of Khalifa Foundation for the great effort.
