With the advent of the first days of the holy month of Ramadan, the Khalifa Foundation launched the Iftar initiative by distributing ready-made meals to those fasting in the capital, Hadiboh.
The teams of Khalifa Foundation were stationed before the Iftar time in two locations, the first near the Cana’a Tour, in front of the Community College and at the entrance to Hadiboh City, where they distributed 300 and the second in the Sultan’s Majlis Ali Issa, during which 200 meals were distributed, with a total of 500 ready-made meals per day over the days of the holy month.
Hundreds of citizens have benefited from the distribution of meals, who expressed their appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation for this humanitarian initiative in the holy month, which contributes to the provision of Iftar meals to the island’s residents.
This step coincides with many charitable activities carried out by the White Hands, such as distribution of breakfasts for fasting people in mosques, a competition for memorizing the Holy Quran, in addition to various charitable and service works in the archipelago.
In turn, the people on the island valued this generous initiative from the United Arab Emirates, which has a positive impact in providing ready-made Ramadan meals to families and passers-by in the city, which relieves their suffering and provides them with a delicious breakfast during the days of the blessed month.
