Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital completed all preparations for receiving patients in Emergency Department in addition to calling for specialized doctors for examination of such emergencies.
The Hospital provide all people in Socotra Island with medical and awareness-raising instructions through loudspeakers of ambulances. It asks the people for following the medical instructions for protection against the globally-spread novel coronavirus, which killed many people.
The administration of the Hospital asked all people to follow its medical instructions including avoiding handshake and using greeting only, avoiding hugging or kissing, covering mouth and nose upon sneezing using the bending elbow or tissue instead of the hand, washing hands with water and soap many times, and avoiding socialization.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital announced reduction of working hours of outpatient clinics to be two shifts in order to ease overcrowding and prevent the people of the novel coronavirus.
