Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation responded to the requests received from the medical team of the military Saudi hospital in Muri District for transporting them from Hadiboh to the hospital site in order to exercise their work and provide treatment and health services for the people.
The Saudi medical team members were transported by a helicopter of Khalifa Foundation due to the rain which blocked the road, Aqaba Haibaq, for more than 4 days.
This humanitarian response by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation was within the community responsibility since this sector was very important, and the situation required coordination of efforts of all sides in order to serve the people of Socotra in all circumstances.
It was worth noting that transportation by the helicopter of Khalifa Foundation included transportation of the medical team from Hadiboh to the hospital site and doctors from the hospital to Hadiboh, since the road was blocked because of the rain.
