In new initiative by the United Arab Emirate supporting people of Socotra, Khalifa Hospital transported group of patients of critical cases to Abu Dhabi yesterday to be treated there on expenses of Khalifa Foundation.
A medical official mentioned that three patients were transported on Air Arabia, and mentioned that they suffered from different diseases. Khalifa Foundation transported them from Abd Al Kuri Island in line with concern with and care for patients in remote areas in the Socotra Archipelago.
Field teams of Khalifa Foundation provided a helicopter and fast boats to transport patients to Qalansiyah and to Khalifa Hospital in Hadiboh to be examined and prepared for travel.
