In a new humanitarian journey of giving by the UAE, teams of Khalifa Foundation faced all challenges including the far distance and rough road to deliver assistance to people of Assroti in southeast Socotra to draw smiles on faces of people.
The food assistance including different essential food items such as (rice, sugar, flour, oil, tomato, dates, and salt) benefited 120 families.
In line with launch of distribution, Ahmed Mohamed, Identifier of Jawa District, expressed happiness of people for arrival of the UAE relief assistance. He also indicated that the team faced all challenges to deliver assistance to the people.
In turn, Sheikh Amer bin Ali welcomed the humanitarian and relief team and commended their effort. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the UAE for the support.
Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed bin Swailah mentioned that the UAE has been the main supporter to people of Socotra targeting all families in the district.
