The field team of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in line with instructions of His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Representative of Khalifa Foundation, visited Zaheq in the south region of Socotra.
The team was headed by Mohamed Sultan with participation of Mahmoud Al Bairaq, Social Affairs Specialist; Ismail Al Junaibi, Sports Official; Nabil Al Sanjedi, Projects Manager at Dexim Power; Ahmed Yahia, Wells Supervisor; and Sabah Al Iraqi, Engineer at Khalifa Foundation.
The team checked the project of water pipes extension to Zaheq and the neighboring districts, which was implemented by Dexim Power, for benefit of hundreds of families. In addition, the team checked the progress of the residential units in Sheikh Zayed City 2 in Zaheq and Daferho in order to accelerate work to help the people affected by the past cyclones.
Furthermore, the team worked on construction of a playground for the district and neighboring ones to serve the youth.
