On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, teams concerned with facing the novel coronavirus of Khalifa Foundation sterilized Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in the capital Hdiboh in order to avoid its spread and in line with the initial precautionary measures relating to sterilization and special instructions of fighting the novel coronavirus.
The teams of Khalifa Foundation sprayed the campus of the Hospital to control insects that might transfer diseases and protect the Hospital and neighboring areas from mosquitos, especially after the last rain period.
This sterilization operations were in line with the plan developed by the Hospital management in coordination with Khalifa Foundation to be twice a day, in the day and night shifts.
It was worth noting that Emergency, Rescue and Safety Team of Khalifa Foundation worked on sterilization of the biggest cities in Socotra; Hadiboh and Qalansiyah previously in addition to some vital centers such as faculties, institutes, airport, port, hospitals, mosques and main streets. It was in line with the program developed by Khalifa Foundation to avoid spread of the novel coronavirus.
