Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation sent the relief assistance to Homol and Flang blocks in Mumi in East Socotra, which included flour, rice, sugar, tea, salt, oil, dates. It was distributed to 153 families.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and appreciation to team of Khalifa Foundation to mitigate suffering of people by delivering the assistance to the mountain areas.
In turn, Mohamed Salem asserted that the relief teams in Khalifa Foundation has afforded all possible efforts to deliver food assistance to all areas across Socotra.
Sheikh Saeed Hussein commended delivery of the UAE assistance to the blocks to help the families to arrange their needs, and thanked the people and Sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates for helping people of Socotra in all fields and at all times.
Citizen Ali Essa mentioned that Khalifa Foundation has worked on delivering food assistance to the people to help them in arrangement of their needs.
