Few days before the holy month of Ramadan, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation sent food assistance vehicles targeting the districts and villages of Qutainan on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. The vehicles included different kinds of food and consumer goods.
Sheikh Musalam Saad Daqhen, identifier of Qutainan, commended the efforts of Khalifa Foundation in support of districts and villages of Qutainan within the concern of the Foundation with providing the people of the Archipelago with the requirements for Ramadan.
Sheikh Qasrar Said Abdullah Mubarak appreciated this humanitarian initiative provided by Khalifa Foundation for the people of Darkaboh, which helped the people in providing the requirements for Ramadan amid these circumstances of cost-of-living and being remote of the capital.
Sheikh Abdullah Saad Rasmi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the team of Khalifa Foundation for this effort to reach to Qutainan with the food assistance vehicle for Ramadan, and prayed for the United Arab Emirates for being safe and secure, since it helped the people of Socotra in all circumstances.
Ahmed Daheq Danahi said that this was not the first time to receive assistance from Khalifa Foundation in spite of the long distance. It always existed for helping us contributing to sending the food assistance to the mountain districts. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leaders and people of the United Arab Emirates for their continuous support to the people of Socotra.
