Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation sent mobile clinics through gyrocopter to Saihen and Matiaf Districts at the far east of Socotra.
The medical team chosen from Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital examined 130 patients in different places, for whom the team provided the necessary treatment and medical advices.
Some cases were advised to visit Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Hadiboh for the necessary medical examinations.
Dr. Ahmed Al Shuaibi said that most of the cases were treated properly and some of them were advised to go to Khalifa Hospital in order to complete examination and treatment.
In this regard, the people of Saihen and Matiaf expressed their thanks to Khalifa Foundation for such humanitarian initiative, which was not the first, since it aimed at relieving suffering of the people as they could not afford treatment and going to Hadiboh due to the long distance.
