Today, UAE plane with medical, treatment and preventive supplies arrived to Socotra to fight the novel coronavirus.
These aids were more than 3 tons for patients suffering from renal impairment and other sterilization materials for prevention of coronavirus in addition to number of other medical and health needs.
The plane was in response to calls from Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in the capital Hadiboh after the lack of necessary medical supplies, which patients need, especially patients suffering from renal impairment. The arrival of the plane was a relief for people across Socotra.
Sheikh Khalifa Hospital is the main hospital in Socotra that provides medical and health services for governorate residents. It has a distinguished role in reduction of people suffering due to travelling outside the Island for treatment.
