Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation reopened roads leading to fishing compounds on the Southern coastline.
Official at Khalifa Foundation in Socotra said that the operations of reopening roads for fish compounds was coinciding with opening new fishing season in the Archipelago and within concern of Khalifa Foundation with helping fishermen and providing their needs for diesel and equipment in addition to transportation of their products easily.
Chiefs of fishing associations on the Southern coastline largely appreciated the effort of Khalifa Foundation and its concern with fishermen. They also assured that reopening roads would eliminate the fishermen’s suffering in relation with delivering their products.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation paid great attention to fishing compounds and fishermen and supported them for years, which contributed to increasing their production.
