Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation provided the two teams of Shaib District, in the farthest west of Socotra, with integrated sport requirements including sport suits and balls.
His Excellency Hamad Al Zaabi and Captain Ismail Al Junaibi handed over such sport requirements to Nasr and Nasr Youth Teams following Radfan Club in support of the young men of both teams to encourage them to exercise and avoid negative practices that might affect their health.
In turn, the president of Radfan Club, Saleh Yaslum, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the support of teams with sport tools that might help them in exercising sports in a better way. He considered that the support and concern of different sport championships by Khalifa Foundation in Socotra contributed to tangible improvement of sports and motivated the youth to exercise sports under the slogan of “the perfect mind in healthy body”. He ended his statement with expressing his thanks to the first development ambassador in Socotra, His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazroui, who provided continuous services to the people of the Island contributing to removing it from the past position to be developed in order to prosperity of the people of Socotra.
