With instructions of the Representative of Khalifa Foundation, the humanitarian hand of the United Arab Emirates in Socotra, His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazroui, and under supervision of the official of the western region, Mahmoud Al Bairaq, shelter and food needs were provided to the resident Ali Saad Taha, the breadwinner of the family, whose home was burnt during the tropical depression, Bhavan.
The shelter and food needs included food, furniture, blankets, and kids, men and women clothes.
In his word to Socotra Online, Saad Taha expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazroui for providing their needs during such difficult conditions after losing his home and materials due to the fire. He added that humanitarian hands of the United Arab Emirates has been the support to Socotra.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation worked on reaching all people who incurred damages due to rains and tropical depressions.
