Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation provided Othman Ibn Afan School with 1308 school books for secondary stages, whether scientific or literature sections, which was in line with efforts in improvement of education in Socotra through filling the gap of school books and supporting education by contracting with teachers.
Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Essa, Education Coordinator at Khalifa Foundation, supervised launch of distribution of school books in Othman Ibn Afan School, where students and teachers in turn thanked Khalifa Foundation for supporting education and distributing school books.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of students and teachers in Othman Ibn Afan School. Mr. Abdullah Jamaan Ahmed, Vice Principal of Othman Ibn Afan School, thanked the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation and added that support and concern by Khalifa Foundation were largely welcomed by students and teachers.
Mr. Saeed Hamdan expressed gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the outstanding effort in supporting education.
Student Khadija Mohamed Ahmed thanked Khalifa Foundation for providing school books for students to support education.
