Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation distributed tens of thousands of schoolbooks among the students of Socotra Governorate in different school grades, which was praised by the parents and teachers. In turn, the male and female students expressed their joy and happiness.
An Official at Khalifa Foundation stated to Socotra Online that the Foundation distributed 58,179 schoolbooks during 2019 for different school grades, from which 79 elementary, primary and secondary schools were benefited.
He added that this amount of books solved the problem of lack of schoolbooks in some schools in the Archipelago and shortfall in other schools, and contributed to meeting the needs of schools for books, helped students in following-up lessons, and promoted students’ knowledge.
