Socotra Online
In concern of the United Arab Emirates, represented in Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, with knowledge, strengthening education aspects, and providing Socotra Governorate with a new generation with high-level of knowledge, the Foundation provided 40 abroad scholarships for the students of the Socotra Archipelago for this year. The applicants of the scholarship should conform to the following:
- Holding the secondary school certificate 2019
- The success grade, whether in scientific or literature sections, 80%
- Minimum 75% in English
- Passing the personal interview and exams determined by Khalifa Foundation
The United Arab Emirates ensures the continuation of scholarships for the students who are seeking for completion of their studying in Al Azhar. It was dedicated for secondary school graduates 2017-2018-2019 who memorized 10 sections of the holy Quraan.
It was worth noting that a large number of students of Socotra were enrolled in universities in the United Arab Emirates 2018 and Egypt 2019, where they received a high-level knowledge seeking to development and prosperity of the Archipelago.
