Today morning, Thursday November 07, 2019, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation organized a wide cleaning campaign in Hadiboh titled “Clean Socotra”.
The campaign, in which teams of Khalifa Foundation participated, aimed at removing tons of plastic, stationary and tires from main streets.
The campaign was in line with the series of campaign launched by Khalifa Foundation at the beginning of the present year aiming at completing work prior to starting of schools, colleges, and entertainment and beaches season. The Campaign aimed at creating a community initiative to keep Socotra clean with unique appearance. It helped in removing tons of waste from main streets in Hadiboh.
Socotra Online reporter said that the campaign was largely welcomed by the people of Socotra with large participation by the people.
