Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation laid the foundation for the gas station in the west coast areas.
Thousands of citizens in the west coast areas, which extended to Qarra in the west and Matiad in the east, were benefited from this gas station, especially the fishermen, as they suffered from the cost of arranging their needs of gasoline from the center of the Island for years. The Chief of Development Committee in Khalifa Foundation, Ali bin Essa bin Afrar, assured that the establishment of the gas station was within the developmental plan of the Foundation on the Island in order to meet the requirements of the people helping them in arranging their needs.
Sheikh Ghanem Al Zahqi, Identifier of the west coast areas, highlighted that the establishment of the gas station in Nujed was one of the most important projects for the people of the district since it was far from the center of the Island.
In this regard, group of fishermen and car owners expressed their joy for the establishment of gas station.
